If the answer is YES, The Meritage Resort and Spa, one of Pacific Hospitality Group's premier resorts, is looking for you!Job Summary:The Food and Beverage Manager reports to the Resort Manager and is a hands-on experienced Manager who leads the team, manages the floor and insures our guests receive the highest level of service and quality on a daily basis. This position manages the Crush Ultra Lounge and Blend.Responsibilities include:Lead, develop, plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the Crush Ultra Lounge and Blend teams to ensure exceptional serviceHire, train, develop and superviseAddress guest concerns and react and solve quickly and professionallyMaintain costs, inventory, and quality controlAssist in managing, operating and supervising the other F&B venues as neededDevelop, mentor, coach, and counsel staff on an ongoing basisConduct regularly scheduled departmental meetingsMaximize revenues, implement strategies, practices and promotionsMaintain knowledge of all menusCollaborate with culinary to offer current and seasonal menu itemsManage the departmental budget, payroll and revenues to achieve company's financial objectivesUphold, train, and insure safety policies are consistent among staff membersJob Requirements:Minimum of two years management experience within a food and beverage venueAbility to work on AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts as required by operational needsServSafe Food Handler certification Ideal candidate will have:Prior restaurant and/or lounge/bar experienceProficient knowledge of wine, spirits and full service alcohol serving facilityOutstanding management, organization, communication and leadership skillsStrong and proven ability to motivate, train, develop, mentorAbility to provide outstanding customer serviceAbility to monitor laborAbility to maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all OSHA and local health department regulationsComputer savvyPhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate equipment, and to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Frequent visits to individual resort properties, of such facilities which have a wide diversity of topography are required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move office supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Finger dexterity isrequired to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office/restaurant equipment.
